Web Logs at the Business Search Directory

Members of the Business Search Directory may view information about every visitor to their websites, including their Locations.

Simply copy-and-paste the HTML code shown on your administration page to any of your webpages, and the following information will be shown for every visitor:
  • Date/Time
  • Webpage the person visited
  • IP Address
  • Location
  • City
  • State
  • Zip Code
  • Country

You may Sort the logs by any field, by clicking on a column heading. Clicking the same column heading a 2nd time will sort the logs in descending order.

Display Unique IP Addresses: The checkbox labeled Unique (next to the IP Address heading) will cause logs to be displayed for unique visitors only.

Searching the Web Logs: You may search the Web Logs, by entering criteria into the textbox above any of the column headings. You may enter complete or partial matches. For example, if you entered help.htm in the textbox above the Webpage heading, and CA in the textbox above the State heading, then logs would be shown for visitors from California that viewed Help.htm on any of your websites The search is not case-sensitive, so you can enter the criteria in either upper or lower case characters.

After you enter criteria, there are two ways that you can begin the search:
  • Press [Enter] while the cursor is in any criteria textbox, or
  • Click [Perform Search].

Clicking [Clear All Criteria] will remove all text from the criteria textboxes, and all the logs will then be displayed.
