Offering superior performances in the greater Richmond area, this 70-voice women's a cappella chorus has won numerous awards - most recently the Championship of Sweet Adelines' 5-state Region 14. Among the top 33 choruses world-wide, it has competed internationally 4 times, including in Hawaii in '08.
The Chorus & its fine quartets perform regularly in Richmond & beyond, including at an annual fall show. Songs include show tunes, jazz, gospel & barbershop favorites - with sparkling choreography, dazzling costumes & light humor. Available to perform at events from Artist Series to parties, they also offer Singing Valentines & Mother's Day Serenades. A community service octet performs during the day.
A community-based, nonprofit organization, the Chorus is dedicated to advancing the musical art form of barbershop a cappella 4-part harmony through education, performance, competition, & community service. Women who love to sing are invited to any rehearsal! |
