CRT has developed a proprietary hollow composite rebar for concrete construction. It is non corroding, light weight (one fourth the weight of steel rebar), twice as strong as steel, extremely resistant to any corrosive environment. it does not corrode, so concrete strucutures, especially infrastructure, last much longer. Research shows that our rebar is conservatively about half the cost of steel based on life cycle analysis. Unique and patented hollow core can be used as conduit for wiring, sensors to make smart structures, climat control (hot fluid for keeping bridges, roads, runways, driveways snow and ice free, or cool fluid for keeping structures cooler). Game changing technology, composite rebar has been approved for use by the ACI and has unqualified success with twenty years successful installations. |
